Terms of Service
Last updated: May 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the IFIGO mobile app, website, cloud services, backup features, notifications, subscriptions, and sendout features (together, "IFIGO" or the "service"). By creating an account or using IFIGO, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
IFIGO is designed to help you store private information, prepare protected packages for trusted recipients, and deliver those packages only under the conditions you configure. IFIGO is a supportive tool, not a substitute for legal, estate, emergency, medical, or professional planning.
1. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use IFIGO.
- You are responsible for keeping your device, app account, sign-in provider account, PIN, cloud storage accounts, and recipient security answers secure.
- You authorize IFIGO to use supported sign-in providers and cloud services to identify your account, operate the service, and protect access to account features.
- You must provide accurate account, recipient, and subscription information where required for the service to work properly.
2. Your content and responsibilities
You may create journals, vault items, attachments, recipients, security questions and answers, settings, backups, and recipient assignments. You remain responsible for your content and for deciding which content is assigned to each recipient.
- You must have the rights and permissions needed to store, back up, process, and send any content you add to IFIGO.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of recipient email addresses, security questions, security answers, and sendout settings.
- You understand that selected recipients may receive assigned content if your configured sendout conditions are met.
- You should not store information in IFIGO unless you are comfortable protecting it with your own device, account, and backup security choices.
3. Security, encryption, and backup limits
IFIGO uses security measures such as local encrypted storage, device-based security controls, encrypted backups where enabled, and password-protected recipient packages. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee complete security.
Recipient packages are prepared and password-protected on your device before upload. IFIGO's servers do not receive or store the password or security answer needed to open the recipient package. However, IFIGO may process operational metadata needed to manage packages, notifications, subscriptions, and delivery.
You are responsible for remembering or safely preserving the PINs, passwords, security answers, account access, and backup access needed to use protected content. If these are lost, IFIGO may not be able to restore or recover affected data.
Backups may be stored in Google Drive or iCloud Drive when enabled. These providers are outside IFIGO's direct control. Deleting your IFIGO account may not delete backup files already stored with those providers, and you may need to delete those backups directly.
4. Cloud features, package sync, and sendouts
To operate reminders, notifications, subscription access, package sync, package cleanup, and sendouts, you authorize IFIGO to process the account data, settings, recipient information, package metadata, notification data, and delivery information needed for those features.
When sendout functionality is enabled, IFIGO may prepare recipient-specific packages on your device from content assigned to each recipient. These packages are password-protected before upload and may later be sent to the selected recipient if the sendout flow triggers.
Sendout features are supportive tools only. They are not a guaranteed emergency, legal, estate, medical, compliance, or notification system. Network outages, device state, permissions, cloud provider failures, subscription status, incorrect settings, missing recipient data, email provider behavior, spam filtering, or other issues may delay, prevent, duplicate, or otherwise affect delivery.
5. Notifications and permissions
IFIGO may request permissions such as notifications, camera, media/photo access, Google Drive, iCloud Drive, and sign-in access. You can change permissions in your device or provider settings. Disabling permissions may limit or break features, including daily reminders, photo capture, backups, package sync, restore, and sendouts.
6. Subscriptions and paid features
- Some features, including automatic sendout-related functionality, may require an active paid subscription.
- Purchases, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play and may be managed through RevenueCat where applicable.
- If your subscription lapses, is canceled, expires, cannot be verified, or payment fails, paid features may pause, stop, or become unavailable.
- Subscription entitlement information may be processed so IFIGO can enable or disable paid features.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use IFIGO for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or deceptive purposes.
- Store, transmit, or send malicious code, malware, unlawful content, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Use IFIGO to harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm others.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, abuse cloud resources, reverse engineer the service, or interfere with service operation.
- Add recipients or send content without appropriate authority, consent, or legal basis where required.
8. Account deletion and data cleanup
You may stop using IFIGO at any time. If you delete your account in the app, IFIGO attempts to remove account-related cloud data and package files controlled by IFIGO, subject to technical limitations, provider retention, legal requirements, security needs, billing records, fraud prevention, and service logs.
Local app data and third-party cloud backups may need to be deleted separately from your device, Google Drive, iCloud Drive, or other provider accounts.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for IFIGO or others, misuse the service, or if required by law or service-provider rules.
9. Third-party services
IFIGO depends on third-party services, including cloud infrastructure, authentication providers, cloud messaging, cloud storage, app stores, subscription management services, and email delivery providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. IFIGO is not responsible for third-party outages, delays, data loss, access problems, security incidents, policy changes, account restrictions, or failures.
10. Intellectual property
IFIGO's software, branding, design, content, and related materials are owned by IFIGO or its licensors, except for content you provide. These Terms do not give you ownership of IFIGO itself. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the service except as permitted by law.
11. Disclaimers
IFIGO is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of availability, reliability, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, successful backup, successful restore, successful notification, successful sendout, or recipient access.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IFIGO and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, access, backups, packages, notifications, sendout outcome, recipient delivery, recipient access, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IFIGO and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your recipients, your use of IFIGO, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.
14. Changes to the service or Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of IFIGO at any time. We may update these Terms to reflect product, security, operational, legal, or provider changes. Updated Terms will be posted here. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
